June, 2021: Recently, two evergreen trees fell over during a strong storm. A third was partially tipped over. All three trees were removed. The trees were located on the south side of the cemetery close to the west end.

May 17, 2021:

Randy E. and Kelsey E. installed the flagpole on the building’s south side, and began the landscaping project on the building’s north side. In addition, they hauled in and leveled off gravel and dirt around the building. When the project is complete, low-maintenance plants will be placed on the north side.

Building’s north side – landscaping stones will be placed in this area. Flagpole with solar light will be installed on south side. South side will also have access to water during the day.

The original “United Cemetery” display was incorporated into the brickwork done by Jeff B.

During the last week in April 2020, work began on a 16  foot x 24 foot building.  It will house the church’s lawn mowers and lawn equipment. The building was completed in July.

The Memorial Committee met in October. Some of the items members are working on are landscaping, lighted flagpole, benches, heavy-duty garbage can, self-watering flower pots, display cse of cemetery map, and display of the original “United” cemetery sign.

Pictures of the the ongoing construction are below.
